Job Description

Compliance Testing Officer

As the Compliance Testing Officer, you will be responsible for leading and executing independent testing and monitoring activities within the Compliance department. This role supports DLL US Operations in ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies, with a strong focus on Financial Economic Crimes (FEC), Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) topics and consumer regulatory oversight. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing test reviews from inception to reporting, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders across business lines.

Day to Day

  • Design, develop, and execute compliance test plans from scratch, including defining scope, methodology, and sampling approach.
  • Conduct independent testing and monitoring of regulatory requirements, internal policies, and controls across various lines of business.
  • Analyze data, identify trends or gaps, and determine compliance with applicable regulatory and internal standards.
  • Draft high-quality, executive-ready reports summarizing testing objectives, methodology, findings, and recommendations.
  • Maintain testing documentation and work papers in accordance with internal audit and regulatory expectations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather evidence, discuss preliminary results, and support corrective action planning.
  • Collaborate with FCC, FEC, Privacy, Core Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to align risk focus areas, control environments, and test calendars.
  • Participate in ongoing development and enhancement of the annual Compliance Testing and Monitoring Plan.
  • Support the team in ensuring timely completion of yearly testing and monitoring activities.
  • Identify areas for continuous process improvement and communicate opportunities to supervisor.
  • Document, organize, and present findings to Compliance Department and Operations Team leadership.
  • Assist in training and development for members as needed.
  • Support the Compliance staff and projects. Actively share insights and recommendations, and continuously optimize the quality, reliability, and efficiency of Controls oversight process.
  • Perform analyses to support day-to-day Compliance needs as well as our strategic initiatives and key projects.
  • Communicate with RCF to align recent RCF and TM Findings
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings with RCF, Internal Audit & Core Compliance for program development and alignment

Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree with Business or Legal curriculum - a comparable combination of education, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, or Risk & Control functions within financial services. Demonstrated ability to independently lead end-to-end testing engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance framework (e.g. BSA/AML, FCRA, ECOA, UDAAP, GLBA).
  • Experience drafting formal reports that meet regulatory, legal, or internal governance standards.
  • Exceptional attention to details, Organizational skills, and analytical thinking, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.

Applicable Pay Range

$74,261.60 - $111,392.40

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
